Product Details
No matter how you inseminate your ewes, we have SHEEPPLUS to suit your needs. For fresh semen, SHEEPPLUS is available in 10 unit multi-dose vials (each vial will sex 10 x 0.25 ml of extended semen). This product is designed for use with cervical or laproscopic insemination of fresh semen. For frozen straws, we also have SHEEPPLUS in single-dose vials (0.25 ml or 0.50 ml ).

SHEEPPLUS™ Product Details
SHEEPPLUS - SINGLE DOSE VIALS. Simple to use. Everything you need for sexing a single straw of frozen ram semen is contained within the vial. Semen is thawed as usual and then mixed in the SHEEPPLUS vial. Incubate for 20 minutes and the sexed semen is ready for insemination.
SHEEPPLUS - MULTI-DOSE VIALS. Our newest product for sexing of fresh RAM semen. For breeding programs that rely on collection of semen from your own RAM. After collection, just mix, incubate, and you are ready to inseminate. Available in 10 and 20 dose vials. For more information, click on the instruction link below.
Description of SHEEPPLUS™
How does SHEEPPLUS work? The sexing process "stimulates" the fertility and motility of the X-chromosome bearing (female) sperm while "slowing" the fertility and motility of the Y-chromosome bearing (male) sperm. When inseminated, the sperm are "sorted" in the reproductive tract. The result is more ova fertilized by the X-bearing sperm... producing more lambs and more ewe lambs.
Are pregnancy rates affected? Our research team and the experience of producers using the EMLAB SEXING TECHNOLOGY have seen pregnancy rates excel when using this product. Most producers are reporting an 5-25% increase in conception rates!
Handling Instructions: Protect from light, heat, and moisture during storage and transport. We recommend transporting the product in a cool, insulated container.
Storage: Store in the freezer compartment (at or below -20oC) for up to two years.
Expiration date: SHEEPPLUS has shelf-life for 2 years from date of manufacture when stored in the freezer.
Timing of insemination
Semen sexed with SHEEPPLUS it is no longer conventional semen and requires special handling. For more details on specific breeding protocols, see the SHEEPPLUS Instructions below.

RAMPLUS™ Product Details
RAMPLUS in a new semen sexing kit. Sexing of semen will never be easier. Everything needed for sexing a single straw of semen is freeze-dried in the mixing vial. It can be used with any ram and any frozen semen you already have in the tank. Semen is thawed as usual and mixed in the RAMPLUS vial. Incubate for 20 minutes and the sexed semen is ready for insemination.
Description of RAMPLUS™
How does it work? RAMPLUS works by "accelerating" the motility of only the Y-chromosome bearing (male) sperm while "reducing" the motility of the X-chromosome bearing (female) sperm. As a result, the male sperm arrive at the point of fertilization ahead of the female sperm. More ovum are then fertilized by the male sperm resulting in a higher percentage of males calves. There is no need to sort sperm mechanically; the gender-biased sperm are sorted in the reproductive tract of the ewe.
Are pregnancy rates affected? Conception rates are excellent using RAMPLUS. Many producers are reporting improved conception rates!
Handling: Keep away from heat, moisture, and bright sunlight. We recommend transporting in a cool, insulated carton.
Storage conditions: For long-term storage, keep in the freezer (at or below-20oC) for up to two years.
Expiration Date: This product is a bio-pharmaceutical agent that is warranted from expiration for 2 years from the date of manufacture. Improper handling and storage will void this warrant.
